Lunchtime Support Assistant Vacancy

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team in a brand new special school for pupils aged 11 – 19 years, situated in newly completed premises in Northern Moor.

Our pupils, all of whom have severe learning difficulties, follow a vocational curriculum with a strong focus on supporting young people to become active citizens who make a positive impact on their communities. The rapid growth of this innovative school will offer the post holders ample opportunities for skill development and progression over the next few years through training and support.

We are currently looking to appoint a Lunchtime Support Assistant to provide high quality support over lunchtimes, supporting healthy eating, a range of lunchtime clubs, feeding and changing students as appropriate. This is a part time post working 10 hours per week (11.30am – 1.30pm, term time only.)

The successful applicant must be able to work effectively with the whole school including Governors, staff and pupils. The successful candidate may be asked to work across schools within the Trust.
